1) General Information & Policy

Description: If your looking for wines rated 90 and higher from Washington or wines rated 95 or higher from Argentina, Australia, California, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Oregon, Portugal, Spain, and Washington you will want to investigate our selection.

All wines are sold in Washington State and title passes to the buyer in Washington. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of Washington. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage Federal Express to deliver your order.

In placing your order, you represent to us that you are 21 or older and that the person to whom you are directing delivery to is also at least 21 years old. When your wine is delivered, the person receiving delivery WILL be required to show ID proving he/she is at least 21 years of age. Please note that there is a 10% restocking fee plus the cost of shipping for returned orders due to non-delivery.

If the outdoor temperature is expected to be between 45 and 70 degrees F your wine can be shipped next door or second day delivery; otherwise, your wine will be shipped next day priority. Orders can also be picked up at our Richland shop at 624 Wellsian Way, Richland, WA 99352.

Our wines are cellared at 56 degrees F, sideways, and in the dark.

Abeja Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

Description: Rated-94 by WINE ENTHUSIAST (June 1, 2006).

"Abeja's John Abbott belongs on anyone's short list of Washington's most talented winemakers. This supple, dense Cabernet is restrained for the vintage, but lacks nothing in terms of power, muscle or complexity. Tar, smoke and gravel run right down its spine; tannins are substantial. But everything about the wine says class, and its compact confidence rewards patient tasters with layers of ripe, varietal flavor, perfectly matched to the oak."

Supple and powerful, bursting with rich plum, currant and spice flavors, yet nicely reined in to mute the explosion and focus the juiciness into a mouthful of complex and exciting character. Best from 2011 through 2018. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 271 cases made.

About our Wine Samplers

Description: Each wine in our samplers was rated 95 or higher by WINE SPECTATOR or WINE ENTHUSIAST. The rating follows the region of origin of each wine. Ratings followed by an 'e' were awarded by WINE ENTHUSIAST; otherwise, the rating was awarded by WINE SPECTATOR. Each bottle contains 750ml except 'WA5' (see list below) which contains 375ml.

Prior to shipment, we maintain all our wines at 55 to 57 degrees F. During July, August and thru September 15, we will only guarantee wine quality if shipped Fed Express Priority and if received on the first delivery attempt. Purchaser agrees to these terms by placing a wine order and can instruct us as to the time and place of delivery.

Each sampler below contains WINE SPECTATOR'S most recent 'Wine-of-the-Year', 'WA6' (see list below). Each wine will be accompanied by a copy of the WINE SPECTATOR or WINE ENTHUSIAST rating info report.
